So....the title of the thread was "...from CURRENT GoJet pilots".
There's a handful of pilots who seem to feel the need to come in here and bash G7 on this forum.
Unknown if they ever worked here...
But, whatever: Some are going to believe what they WANT to believe.
My experience has been very positive here.
A lot of great people.
Are they unorganized? Oh, yeah.
Are they understaffed....heck ya.
Training a bit of a mess? ...Yup.
But, it really seems like they want all of us to succeed, and make it to the line. Even those who have failed this or that. (One oral fail in our class of 15...but, they are giving him some "retraining", and he should be taking it again in a week or so.)
Oh, and some really great instructors at Flight Safety STL.
As for those who claim G7 is anti-military? More than 1/4 of our class is coming from there...and, a survey of the classes before and after ours shows very similar.
Again, some are going to believe what they want to believe.
You can PM me if you want.

My experience was pretty good there. Was there back in 2015 right when the changeover happened to the new system. That was the biggest cluster**** in my time there. People were cool to fly with, hotels were “meh” and my paycheck was always right and on time. I knew what I was getting into when I went there, horror stories and all. I was lucky and got out without any blemishes or disciplinary actions like many have had. YMMV.

I feel like if you have to note this as a PRO, that’s not really a good thing for your company...

There should not be a guy who has not even gotten through IOE telling others how great it is at GJ when he has no basis to say that.
He said 25% of his class is x military, so what. How would they even know how GJ treats military guys good or bad, they don't.
In his 6 to 12 weeks with the company he has probably not been diagnosed with a medical condition and terminated.
He has not seen FA friends diagnosed with cancer, then quickly given a checkride and terminated saving the company 200k in cancer treatments from their self insured system.
It has not changed, it is not going to change.
There are good regionals to go to and none are headquartered in Missouri.

I have not seen any improvements in the last 12+ years.

The CRJ550 is just a scope forced downgrade of equipment at GoJet for United. United needed relief for the planes they are sending to (United owned) Expressjet. The benefit for Gojet, besides desperately holding on to some flying, is that they can now get rid of half their FAs.
