Still waiting...
The announcement of this so called flow was made by our upper management in a call in almost two weeks ago... We have yet to receive any official memo from the company regarding information concerning the flow or any other type of agreement with F9.
Further, our union has absolutely no say whatsoever in what the company does regarding any flow agreement with any airline... It is not covered in the contract.
As for our other flows, or at least Spirit, that has turned out to be a complete joke... More then a handful of pilots including myself applied, and were basically told thanks but no thanks. The agreements G7 has is nothing more then a tool to attract new pilots... Like everything else, smoke and mirrors.
We are still waiting on an official announcement in memo form from the company concerning F9, yet the company added F9 to their list of current flows to their website and released a press release over two weeks ago...

It is a joke, but not a hilarious joke, it's a sad joke.
Gojet fires someone, the person grieves the termination. Gojet claims the grievance was not filed correctly. Gojet refuses to proceed, so they proceed on the issue of Gojet refusing to proceed. Eventually, the refusal of gojet to proceed on that goes to arbitration a year later. Gojet loses.
Gojet's next step? Refusal to abide by the arbitrator's decision that they have to arbitrate. The union then has to go to Federal Court and request that they compel Gojet to arbitrate. So, after a year and a half the grievance process begins.
Gojet has a purpose in all this. They want the process to run the past the time where the employee had to file in federal court.
How many of you can be unemployed for a year and a half before the process begins?
If you can't afford to be unemployed for 2 years with no paycheck having to pay your own health care, then you don't belong here.

so-called flow
So, even if I don't "opt-in" to the Spirit/Frontier flow, I would still be blocked from being hired "outside the flow?"
Is that a fact?
Was considering GoJet in order to live in base..I hate to eliminate two potential future employers right off the bat though.
