Default Bonus Payback

I'm looking at applying as a direct entry captain with GoJet. I see the bonus is paid out incrementally between start date, IOE, and at the end of your first year. Is there a repayment requirement if you leave before a certain date?

It's funny how there are so many trolls from other airlines talking about don't go somewhere. Look at how few people who fly at GoJet are actually complaining on here.. Not a whole lot. Is it perfect? No, None are... Everyone has different reasons for why an airline works for them. For me, GoJet works and suits me fine and I like it.

What works well about GoJet? Not too long ago you were asking questions about uniform policy at Endeavor and where to find it. Training didn’t go so well?

Well hello Keyboard Commando! No issues at all in ANY training, good try though. I don't have the time to go through your old posts to try and find something to harass you about in return nor do I care. But on that subject of training, there are big differences in the training. Some things that are harder at Endeavor are easier here and vice versa. Like I said, everyone has different reasons for why an airline works for them, mine happens to be 100% base preference. I don't want to commute to and essentially live in NY then once holding a line for a short while it starts over again upon upgrade. No thanks. I will happily reside at my home base for as long as there is a base there. This is not a career for me so I am here for a little then on to something else. Base choice wasn't a concern for me at first, but it quickly became first priority.

Feel free to message me offline if you like, I am not going to waste time arguing with you, and I won't continue to hijack this thread.

For those who might be curious I asked in my interview. First 20k must be paid back (pro rated monthly) if you leave in the first year. The rest you keep as soon as its paid to you.

Why GoJet. Well partially because they are hiring street captains which means less of a pay drop from my current 135 gig. Second because their bases are easily commutable from where I live.

Do I understand what I am possibly getting into as far as QOL, yes. I know that its possible to be commuting to sit reserve 20 days a month. I know that like any regional planes can come and go on short notice. I also know that GoJet is a small company and has high turnover. That all being said just like 95% of the people going there. Its a stepping stone. The same people complain and trash talk GoJet in every thread possible. There will always be those who complain even if they were working at Delta, American, or United.
