I had an interview last Friday and learned the following in discussion with my recruiter.

They are interviewing Compass pilots who would like to cross over to GoJet.

Training was a little backed up because of sim availability so they are adding additional sim training in Arizona.

There are two class dates for September 3 and 17 and three scheduled for October.

I got a CGO contingent job offer waiting to hear from HQ if I’m approved and when I will start.

I think someone has given you bad info. You would sound much more credible with valid facts. Maybe try Wikipedia. Why do you think an August class has been cancelled?

I think an August class was canceled because that was posted by someone on here and I believe them. They also posted about the 2 planned for Sept and I saw no reason to not believe that either. I do question whether those 2 classes will take place considering we have 9 planes sitting and I believe 2 more on the Delta side may be leaving in September. Aren't we losing another 2 or 3 in this month because of Expressjet getting more 175s?

Are you correcting me? Was the August class not canceled? Let me know and I will update Wikipedia.

The info that we received from recruiting was that for August there was only one class scheduled to begin on 08/20.

I was trying to see if you knew for sure that it had cancelled (like first hand information) or was it just a rumor.

And why would they be doing that if there really were no classes? Just for some involved practical joke?

If you start at 10 year Capt. pay, do you get 10-year pay during training?
