My guess is that they may get written authorization from the POI to extend further if the hours are close enough. If not, it's probably requal and start the clock over again.

On a side note, does anyone know how long it takes to get reserve in STL? Looks like all the fresh meat heads to EWR for a bit. Living in STL makes G7 my first choice, but if I'm sitting in Jersey for too long the in-base calculus doesn't really matter.

Hi, likely starting training next month. Wondering, how soon do we get our badges and CASS privileges after starting INDOC to be able to hopefully travel home some of the weekends. Also, can someone confirm the hotel we stay at while in STL? I heard Extended Stay Motel, but someone said it's now the Crown down the road, is the right? Thanks.

Badges second week of indoc. Newhires going to Crowne mainly but if that's full they can put you in the Embassy Suites or Extended Stay

Having lived near STL in years past, the Crowne is one of the best hotels near the airport.

New Hire Class Drops

Anyone that was in the most recent new hire classes? How many in your class and what date? FO vs DEC?

Curious to see if the new pay rates/bonus are bringing people to G7.

That's a scary concept. That hotel is ghetto.

There are a lot worse hotels around STL airport.

Thanks for the reply and info! Good to hear and looks like we're a couple blocks away from basic commodities. 😃

Why GoJet?

I know APF basically exist on cynicism, but as a bright eyed FO-candidate with 5 CJOs, what is your best argument for why GoJet would be a good choice?

And let it be noted, due to family circumstances I will have no choice but to commute.

Depends on the 4 other CJO’s. Mesa, Air Wisconsin, SkyWest, CommutAir, & Republic all pay lower. If Aviate/United is what you want, then GoJet is the best choice.

Next choice is which has the easiest commute & best commuter benefits? (Some will argue this is the first choice to make).
