GoJet Hiring???????

For anyone that thinks that gojets guys don't get denied jumpseats, think again, I've had the pleasure on a few occasions, as I bid ORD and STL lines often. I think they know better by now, furthermore I've told a couple of them in line at Starbucks, what a pos person they are for displacing folks with families by undermining the collective bargaining agreement that TSA had. It's funny to see them turn red with anger and embarrassment, but they brought it on themselves, they usually don’t say anything just walk away.
gojets = contract workers, alter ego airline
Stay clear, or live with the consequences!

Just wait till one of them turns around and kicks your a$$ for what you said to them.

threegreen is absolutely right...first off....management is choosing you for the interview...not the almighty captain john smith from the regional airlines. I have good pilot friends that work for the majors and when I say the word gojet...they reply "who are they"? and "what do they fly" It's a little bogus to assume that you will be tarnished for time eternal. And its true they see all regionals the same. You have the PIC time and the jet/turboprop time....you are good to go. Your career at the regionals is a stepping stone in life. I would love to know how many on these forums actually intend on staying where they are at until they retire....my guess is less than 1%

How do you know, do you fly for the regionals or the majors? You have no idea, this is a small industry. And word is out at the regional level and many major pilots who pay attention to union issues. Most if not all major airline interviews have a line pilot for the interview and they do pay attention to the industry. And most of the time that CA or FO has a big say in whether you get the job or not.
My source includes a 747-400 Captain for Northwest airlines, a 777 Captain for Delta Airlines, a 777 First Officer for Continental and Vice President of International Operations for Northwest airlines. I have no idea...perhaps...but I think those people with over 100 years experience combined experience...might know a little more than you and me.

Not at UPS. UPS hires GoJet pilots.
