GoJet Hiring???????

First off, I am not a Go Jet pilot. 2nd of all, what goes around comes around. Treat people how you want to be treated. If you have a problem with the company approach it properly and maturely. "Informing" people while waiting for coffee and enjoying watching them "turning red with anger" doesn't accomplish anything at the end of the day. 3rd, if my years in the Marine Corps taught me anything, size doesn't matter all that much in a fight. And generally the ones who have the most bravado and talk themselves up the most fall the hardest. But we're not going to talk about fighting. Just making a point that your attitude and ego are dangerous have no place in aviation.

It's amazing how some folks stick up for the alter ego company and their contract workers. It's a free country, and I haven't said anything unprofessional to those tools. Still, they deserve what they get for working for a company like that. OK iceman I'll take your word on that dangerous stuff, now tell me do you wear the helmet in the cockpit?

I don't care who you are (or how big you may perceive yourself to be), you don't harrass people like that after work. I'll tell ya this...Keep it up and I promise you, that you will have messed with the wrong guy (or girl), and they are going to turn around and drop you...
PS- I'm not a GoJet, or regional airline pilot for that matter. I understand you guys have your gripes, but this is taking it too far, and I just hope you are ready to face the cosequences of your actions one day

You wanna talk about consequences? That's exactly what the gojet guys are getting!

I appreciate your concern for my well being, but everyone knows the outcome of an aggressive physical action particularly while in uniform. I would just defend myself, file a lawsuit against gojets, file civil and criminal charges against the contract worker, and there you have one less scab stealing jobs from the TSA guys....a thing of beauty.

You would be guilty for verbally assaulting and provoking him.

Once again it’s time to play the my excrement don’t stink game.
Most of the arguments that Trans States uses against Go Jet, amazingly enough American Eagle used against (Wait for it…..) Trans States. The sticker that you guys have that says “No alter Ego airlines” at American Eagle it said “No alter Eagle airlines”.
The core argument seems to come down to airline X is undercutting us and driving down wages. More importantly MY wages! The argument that TSA uses against Go Jet. Eagle can use against TSA. Not only that, but EVERY major airline pilot can use the same argument against every RJ pilot. Period. There is a reason they call RJ’s the Replacement Jets. Fifteen years ago all of the flying that we are currently doing in our shiny jets was being flown by mainline at mainline pay. Our regional jet flying did not magically appear. We got it by undercutting the majors.
If driving down the wages is a major concern why is it that someone recommended the OP to look at going to Great Lakes? $16.00/hr as a first year FO! That’s really lifting up the industry.
There is nothing in the jump seat agreements about denying seats because you don’t like something about that person, or where they work. All you are really doing hurting the commuters, jeopardizing your jump seat agreements and frankly being rather petty punishing someone for the choice of employment. Especially if you don’t have the backing of your whole pilot group or union.
If you are going to pass judgment on another company and there pilots maybe you should look at your own first.
