Alpa advises AE furloughs don't fly for gojet

It makes perfect sense....when was the last pilot hired at TSA?? It was probably AFTER 2005. So yes, you are right, it was better than flight instructing, but someone who was hired at TSA post 2005 cannot possibly complain about GJ when they should have known that it existed PRIOR to applying, interviewing, and accepting a position!

A person who's regarded as contemptible....lol. by your rationale, hitler and stalin were both scabs as well.

It was a good option at the time with a good chance for improvement...enter gojets. Why are you so interested in my choices? It's not going to chance the fact that gojets is an alter-ego, it's not going to change the fact that gojets pilots knowingly go to work for a company that was created to circumvent a collective bargaining agreement, and the chances for better pay.

Yes a pilot hired after 2005 should have know that there were issues between TSA and GJ but without any previous airline experience a greenhorn can't fully understand the situation. Without previous experience a pilot just doesn’t understand the complexities of our industry. Now if you are a pilot who has made or is making a lateral move to GJ or TSA then yes, you should have known better.
There's nothing complex about what gojets is, about what they've done to the industry, and about what they stand for. Anyone with a private ticket can find all this out if they just look.

how can a word with as much meaning as S.C.A.B, have 4 different definitions? it's an acronym. nothing can be more black and white. by generalizing the term as much as your are trying to, you take away from the intended meaning.

For those of you that don't work for an airline, but want to, stay away from gojets, you're risking too much just to try to get in and fly a shinny jet. Wait until the market turns around, then you can go work for a real airline, where you won't have to be ashame to tell people who you work for.

Now, just to clarify for you guys, I never called them scabs. They're not technically scabs.. (Hence the term pseudo-scab)... They're about as close as you can get without actually crossing a picket line. (Which I hope to hell they won't actually do when the strike finally comes).

So now you want to challenge the dictionary, are you sure you don't work for gojets, because you certainly have taken the time to prove they're not what they are. Since you brought up this ridicoulous analogy, we can assume that gojets is the Stalin of the regional industry, the cancer that continues to grow at the expense of the real airlines. Why do you think you guys keep getting slammed when you ask for the jumpseat? Why do you think AE ALPA took the time to put this memo out?

hate gojet as much as you want. hate RAH now. hate whoever you please. because you got your "widdle feewings huurt", doesn't change the definition of the word whatsoever. lets just agree that I'm right, and you aren't

I disagree with your assessment, if people don't research the companies they're going to work for, then they certainly deserve what they get, in the case of our friendly contract workers from gojets, they deserve to get denied jumpseats. They also deserve the fantastic treatment they get on the ramp at ORD, and they definitely deserve the looks they get from those of us who work for real airlines.

"they deserve the mean looks".........my stomach hurts from laughing so hard. what else ya got?
