GoJet hiring "off the street CAs"?

I figure this is a long shot... especially with what's happening to Comair BUT--

At one point GoJet was hiring off the street CAs, any one know if this is still happening?

It had nothing to do with Comair. They were hiring off the street captains because nobody in the company was qualified.

I do not believe they are doing this any more though.

My point about Comair was the soon-to-be surplus of CRJ pilots ...

Not technically. They are hiring a mixture of pilots with wide ranges of hours. Most go through as FO but shortly after upgrade or some are go through as captains straight from day 1. However they are not hiring strictly for captains. They hire u as an FO and if no one has hours and seniority can hold then u upgrade/or go through training as a captain. Most don't know until middle of training if they r capt or FO

unlike some, this site is not the highlight of my life. only venture here when looking for a job... so correct, by choice I have not been paying attention to what's been going on here.
