I left a long time ago and also did not get pulled out of CASS after I put in my notice. What I found funny was they required you to return all of the brass (which I didn't want anyway) so I tied them to fishing string then tied the string to my bumper and drove around the block. Put them in the box and sent them back to Hulie. I threw my hat in the crew room trash as I walked out the door for the last time. Greatest feeling ever to leave that place. Flew with a ton of awesome former TWA & Chicago Express guys/ladies there.
that is funny . felt the same way when I left |
New upgrade minimums at Gojet Airlines. They have lowered the current 3500 hours to 2500, upgrade time is back at 24 months top.

Yeah right, you're just trolling for people junior to you on the list. "OMGZ, super fast upgradez here now" says everyone at every regional.
G7 owns/leases half of the A/C it operates. That means G7 only controls it's destiny by small margins. Momma Delta at G7 in all reality controls your (new hire, upgrade) fate. Some guys can chime in to what happened at TSA/Eagle back in 07 when the 145s went back to Eagle and alot of people were furloughed. So think for a minute or two and imagine... Here you are 2yrs down the road and momma Delta moves some of those assets around and at G7 a reduction of flying. What type of QOL are you going to have? How easy will it be with 1200ish turbine time to just jump ship, start all over again $20ish an hour, RSV living/sitting. Do your homework from here on out about pay, work rules, RSV obligations. I think if anyone really takes a look at the 30page contract and asks about some of the terrible TAs that have been shoved down the pilots throats you will be shocked. Oh and BTW most all of the guys now by far have enough time to upgrade...management is just dangling a rotten carrot to new hires with yet another mirage. One is the bonus another is 24months you can be an airline captain...hmmm |
