Right I misspoke. If they merged with hire date with no fence it would have a huge impact. All hypothetically of course.

Not sure what all that means for us, but seriously, it's hard to agree to the language in this contract. Not even remotely competitive or industry standard. The contract has more holes than swiss cheese. We do the same work as our sister companies, fly larger aircraft than TSA, yet are not held to the same contract standard. NO.
Well isn't that ironic...

With 24 hours left to go, the vote was at 85%, so I think by the end, most will have voted.

Default ALL G7 Pilots: Choose Wisely..

With less than a day left, I am urging that all GoJet Pilot should vote..

Also, if you have not done so, pls ask questions & make an informed decision..

Then, ask yourself a few questions..

1) Will this improve my quality of life..?
2) How much more money will I make as a result of this TA.?
3) What do I give in return for it..?
4) Can I live with it for the next 5-8 yrs..?
5) How does this TA compare to our sister companies & other regionals..?
6) What do industry piers & other airlines pilots think about it..?
7) Who are the people who are pushing it hard & voting yes for this TA..??
8) What are they going to get out it if this TA passes..

And most importantly, Why are so many Pilots at my airline saying that this is not a good TA & voting NO..?

Personally, I would say only one thing, this TA deserves to be voted down for many reasons, primarily because of its weak language & lack of strong language for protections....

We already have a weak contract, we DON'T need another one which is even weaker than the existing contract...

TO ALL MY FELLOW G7 PILOTS...

PLS CHOOSE WISELY..
YOUR NEXT 5-8 years depend on how you vote today...

Buzz on the interwebs is it's a majority NO vote from the group. I don't blame a lot of the guys, I was a NO vote if I was still there. You can only polish a turd enough times.

I believe that Gojet is going down and I don't think that anyone can stop it at this point. They have a history of mistreating their employees. For months their performance had been horrible. On top of that United does not like the CRJs so they are ending contracts. Not just Gojet. Are the rumors true of Delta taking away the flying? I don't know but would it really surprise anyone? Do you really think the DO would move to a small cargo outfit if he had a choice? I would guess that either he had to leave because he was the one they blamed (he was only partly responsible) or he didn't want to be here when it collapsed. I probably have more to lose if G7 goes down then anyone but without major changes they should be put to sleep. The only way to save it would be to make it impossible for them to abuse people like they have. That would take a contract with teeth. The TAed contract has no teeth, saying it does does not make it so! That would take the unionizing of the flight attendants (I've always hated unions but Gojet has given them no choice.). The union and company are trying to sell the contract by saying the company will no longer be able to abuse people without consequeses. It seems that they are telling us that we forced the company to mistreat us in the past. (Why did you force me to beat you!)
Also, look who the new DO is. He became chief pilot a year ago and now he is the DO. Gojet needed someone with experience who could turn the place around but instead they chose someone who has no idea how to do that job but who will have to learn on the job. An experienced proven performer would cost money but they did not want to spend money. indicates they are only thinking it will be for a short time. Best chance to save Gojet is to vote the TA down.

Vote no on this worthless contract on your way out the door...nobody is going to be at G7 5-8 yrs from now anyways.
