Default New Cass Member "Gojet"!!!

Congradulation's Gojet in becoming the newest CASS member!!! Nice to see that the industry is now accepting you after what seemed to be a harsh reality in 2006. Welcome aboard!

Last I checked being a CASS member just means that you paid into the data base...... has nothing to do with the union...... and no longer being pi$$ed...

This should get interesting...

What's the point of being CASS if no one will let you on a jumpseat?

Will TSA be following suit?

Hmm. CASS is purely for cockpit access jumpseating. If the lovely fellows at GoJet were not allowed in the back of the plane, what in the hell makes you think they will get to sit 6 inches away from the captain?

Snowball's chance in hell.

And FYI, if the industry has "accepted" them... I can assure you the majority of pilots have not. They are still viewed as scum by me and 99% of regional pilots I talk to.

So would you just say NO to the jumpseater, or use the low Ox.(or something like that) as an excuse?

I'd just say no without excuses.

We should all refer to the "No Gojets in our jumpseats" thread... that one became very heated and entertaining.

So because gojet is CASS they are now accepted by their peers??? Since gojet is now CASS, I guess I should change my view/opinion of them? Also, because they are accepted into CASS does that mean that only "good" airlines are CASS? What does CASS have anything to do with accepting any one flying for any airline into the industry?

I assume since Trans States people have not posted anything on here that they are still not in the system? This just upsets me more that gojet, who is doing the Trans States pilots' flying, get to be in the CASS system before Trans States does!!!!! Trans States was working on getting into CASS when I was there (July 05 - July 06) and before gojet was even flying! Apparently they still aren't in it, and if this is the case, what a bunch of A-- holes running Trans States! First give the flying that Trans States pilots earned to gojet guys, then give them CASS too! Geez, I sure do wish I still worked there.

Any by the way, Congradulations is spelled Congratulations! It is a T, not a D! I guess this should be expected to someone congraTulating gojets.
