I have a Citizen Skyhawk Blue Angels watch. My dad bought it for me after I got my PPL, so I don't know what it cost, but they usually sell for between 250 and 350 dollars. That puts it above those Walmart cheapo things and WAY below the Brietlings. I guess it's like the Cadillac CTS of watches.

It has a fuel calculator and a bunch of other numbers that I have no clue what they do.

Yeah but doesn't the digital part also run the date? So if you set the digital part to zulu doesn't the date change at 0000 zulu?

Casio World Time Zone. Shows zulu time, and any time zone in the world. 5 alarms, and 2 stop watches. Cost about 20-30 bucks. Sadly Casio dosesn't make this watch any more. Used to be the standard watch for every Flying Tiger Pilot.

I have this Timex, you can set the date to run off zulu or local time, your choice. It has two choosable digital time zones in addition to the swept time hands. Be that as it is, the watch is hard to program. A couple of years ago I was forced to get the owners manual out and really work through it to program date, time zones, stopwatch and alarm functions. A minor shortcoming with it is the minute hand covers the little digital window. It's a tough little watch, looks good, and is an outstanding value for $50.

What series of timex?

This one. They make several variations. They are tough, inexpensive watches that feature multiple time zones.

My Casio died years ago, but I still have my Seiko World timer that I bought at Ponys outside Yakota AB back in the early 80s. I think I paid $78 for it. It languished in a drawer for 20 years. I recently put it back in service.
I had the newer Seiko World Time watch also but it died in 2005. No parts available...

Here's mine... I've had it for about 8 years and couldn't go a day with out it.

I definitely think all the slide rule calculators and such that inevitably end up on aviation watches are kinda cool, but does anyone actually know how to use theirs, and use it regularly?
