I don't know how they are now, but I bought a 26 in. metal frame PNT when I made captain in 1997. I replaced the handle and wheels once. I skate so just used old skate wheels and bearings. It must have been run over by something because one side got bent. I sent it back and they straightened it. I used it until I retired in 2007 and still use it when I travel.
