The servicemen that pass SEALS training and earn their Trident, I feel, should be compared to the Spartan 300 at Thermopylae. They are tough, as good as a physical shape you can be in, and very smart.

Back during the part of my career I don't talk about I was in the gym the same time a couple of Team Six guys were working out. They were discussing the shoulder injury one of them had. When asked how it was doing, he replied "The Doc told me it'll be OK as long as I take it a little easy. He told me to really warm up and start out light on the weights before going heavy. He recommended 15-20 reps at 240 on the bench to start".

He then proceeded to effortlessly knock them out. I spent the rest of my workout hoping they wouldn't laugh at me.

At that point I would do a Waynes World and bow down chanting I'm not worthy.
