Default Incredible Flight Attendants

I want to be careful how I write this so as not to start the thread on the wrong path, but I had a chance encounter with some flight attendants from a certain international carrier last week (Seattle overnight) and the experience left me in a state of schoolboy euphoria.

I only fly domestically, so 99% of the flt attendants I see are US citizens. And most of those fall squarely into the stereotypes we joke so much about. But these ones were so stunningly beautiful, so perfectly put together, that I just had to ask them, “What airline do you work for?” Their answer: Asiana. I’d barely heard of them before, but I won’t forget that name now.

I'd like to ask you international drivers...do any other airlines' flight attendants come close to reaching this high standard? Who are your favorites? And finally, do our laws here in the States restrict our carriers from imitating those hiring practices?

Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific, Dragunair, Turkish Airlines and JAL all have there act together.

I fly on a lot of trips overseas and am totally amazed with both the quality of Flight Attendants and the level of service.

I always looked forward to KLM coming through the IT. I would always be a gentleman and let their flight attendants go first. Can't resist those ladies in blue.

I deadhead on a lot of foreign carriers, and I really enjoyed the service (and FA's) on: Emirates, Cathay, Malaysian, Qatar, Korean, Asiana, and TAM.

It can probably be argued that passengers feel they are getting better service at an airline where the crew wears uniforms that actually fit and flatter a decent figure. People aspire to people/strangers who project health and fitness and usually look down on those that look like they don't take care of themselves.

Since we are on the topic...Do you see international carriers with a lot of old morbidly obese pilots in yellowed uniform shirts waddling around? I am just curious.
