Worst flying movie ever?

you're dangerous!
FWIW, talking about Top Gun, I got to know Pete Pettigrew a bit when he was in the tng dept at the airline. He never verified it but the story was that at one lunch during filming Cruise stepped to the front of the line and was quickly advised that the line formed at the rear. No specials for an actor.

Can't remember the name, but it was a made for TV movie starring Robert Urich as Captain Luckey, flying a 767 trip with his ex as FO ( a perky little blond). They collide after TO with a light twin and the elevator jams. Eventually some Apaches climb up and shoot holes in the elevators. YES, I'm not kidding! You have to see it! It's hilarious. I especially liked the plumbing in the E&E compartment where the check airman has to ration the oxygen 'cause there isn't enough for everyone.

Gotta be this one for me, and I like Jodie. I watched it, once. It took all I had to get through it.

That movie did more for recruitment than just about any other. I can only imagine being a single Tomcat pilot in San Diego in 1987.

Talked to some of the guys that were involved in the filming. Supposedly the reason Cruise always looked so sweaty in the seat was because he was puking his guts out.

As for the single F-14 driver in SAN in the late 80s? I remember one of the FAs saying, "You know what most fighter pilots use as a contraceptive? Their personality."
