What watch would YOU buy with 100 bucks? I can't stand my watch with Roman Numerals any longer

I would buy a $20 watch from wally world. There are some in that price range witch have two timezones (useful for work) and decent bands (useful for comfort). The other 80 bucks I would use to pay bills, build my emergency fund, or put toward my retirement. If all those things were done, I would use the extra money to entertain a willing lady and have an agreeable meal.

(I choose to live below my means, and a watch is, for me, a tool, not a status symbol)

A Timex Expedition, and spend the rest of the money on beer.

True, just looking for something rock solid that I can have forever. Maybe I'll just carry a sundial around

I have said this before....

A capt I flew with had this to say about a watch(he is a mil. helo pilot). On a flight from San Diego to I believe El Centro for a gas stop. While there a f-18 met earth in the wrong way at a few hundred knots. He went out to help with clean up. While out there he saw the end of wing tip pylon pretty much vertical in the ground, some plane parts, and a hand. He goes over to the hand and picks it up. He saw the hand had a watch and decided to see if it was still working. It was a g-shock(the wal-mart cheap one) watch and it was still working and of course still had the correct time. He was sold on the watch and that is what he wears and suggested the same one for me.

No need for a watch with cell phones. Invest the $100 and you have one less thing you need to take off when going through security.

Besides an average of .5 multi time, I'd get one of those R/C Flight Simulators. Everytime I go into a hobby shop to get something, I get sucked in to playing the demo for an hour or so.
