Me too... My day just got a little worse knowing I now don't have a choice as to which side to put my pen on!

I'd put my pens in the right (non-wing) pocket, but that's where I keep my E6B and whizwheel.

Amen Brother! Pardon the pun. There should be a law against bible thumpers in enclosed rooms with not escape.... such as the cockpit. Further save the spiritual PAs for the house of worship where it will be better received.

but i clip my id badge to the other side, I have to put my pen on the wings side. Otherwise Id be a huge tool if I put my ID badge and wings on the same side!

Tool Time Player here. No need for a pen, We just use the pen installed in the cockpit. Badges? Wings? We don't need no stinkin' badges or wings!

A truly outstanding tool may upgrade to the rank of "device". He carries no pen at all, but just dictates memos to the F/O.
