Hah, I was flying DTW-GRU about a year ago, and the ATL flight couldn't get PAP Center to answer at about 1 or 2 am. So, I whip out my phone and play the classic ring tone using the hand mike. Rring, rring! "Is there a Delta flight calling Port-au- Prince?". We got a good laugh out at the bar the next night with the ATL crew.

Seminole: "Tower, this is Seminole xxxxx, would you like us to ascend to the high performance pattern altitude?"

Tower: "No, stay at current altitude"

So, a non-turboed piston twin is considered high performance now eh?

This is not to mention they were the only one in the pattern at the time whilst doing touch and goes.
