Amen to those last 9 or 10 posts!

It's irritating enough when the unwashed masses are doing it, it's completely unforgivable when aircrews are doing it!

Anybody that says tree, fower, fife, niner, or checks on with altitude, heading, mach#, IAS, and next fix. I gave the FO all the rest of the legs so I wouldn't have to hear it for the rest of the trip. Sick leave bidding will take care of any future trips with this TOTD.

And I never wana hear "You-Noyted" again either.

As far as the numbers, so you prefer that your FO doesn't follow standard phraseology, eh?

Check on should be altitude only unless otherwise requested....

Sipping Jack Daniels straight up with a sore throat stings a bit, but it hurts sooooooo gooooooood.

The numbers things is ridiculous. If you are getting them mixed up, get your hearing checked. Niner? We're not in WW2 anymore. I refuse to use anything but the numbers in their natural state. That's just me. I would've found the other guy to be a tool as well.

Trying to make the 20 minute connection between concourses in ATL and walking down the escalators to the trains when I am blocked. I politely inform her, "passing on the right", to which I get a sarcastic "Hey, I have a plane to catch too". I look back and see the 300 lb person blocking the escalator. I guess it was divine intervention that she was not on my next flight sitting next to me with flubber over running the arm rest.
