the tools here are the parents. Not the pilots, who made a good judgement call...I hope that's what you mean to say

You know, the ones that don't allow you to re-set the actual time (which is always wrong), and require a PhD in Astrophysics from MIT to figure out how to set the alarm.

(Thank God for my iPhone...)

Whew, I thought I was the only idiot who can't figure those things out! Thank God for my $5 target travel alarm clock.....:)

Touche my friend! He'll be laughing and casually knocking out a few more sets while the rest of us heathens lie choking to death on the ground! I really should wear mine to the gym just to see what his reaction is....it's probably like a mime on mime bro down-very awkward, yet entertaining. :D

How can you tell that it was a 'good judgment call'?

I'm wondering this too. Much of this TOTD thread has been devoted to Captains that have earned the title. Seems funny that this Captain gets an automatic pass from C.C.

They made a judgment call, there isn't enough information to tell if it was good, bad, or so-so.

TOTD: The USAirways Express DCA ops guy that continuously wants to "see me in" to my spot. He also likes to act like he controls Taxiway November. While we're busy on Ground coordinating our way in and out, he's yapping in my ear about holding for aircraft behind...we got it buddy, go back to doing nothing. We stopped calling him ready to taxi just to rattle his cage.
