I don't think the season needed saving yet. It's a typical November blip in form. I wished RA would have waited until at least after the January transfer window and seen what happened after that. I would have taken anybody over RB. I guess there's no changing it, so we've got to live with it... Up the Chels!

I'll give a cool of the day to this license plate; "250 TO OM"

Whether that guy is a tool really depends on what the "FY" in "FYJTBLU" stands for. He may be cool of the day.

Replace the y with a u and I agree

Unfortunately, the Nazi's won't make a license plate with FU in it...

JetHead's Blog

Holy Crap!!!!

Reading that blog was sickening! I cannot imagine flying with him. Talk of fuel for "loiter time". Is he doing close air support? Seems to be particularly proud to be an "@$$hole Captain" too. I'm guessing that the pilots that questioned his fuel/payload ratio may have had some knowledge of what constitutes a reasonable fuel load.

I would bet a paycheck that he voted yes for AA's LBFO. It's clear that his ego is priority number one with pay, work rules, etc. a distant second to wearing his leather jacket at the grocery store.

He's a head alright, but "jet" isn't the appropriate prefix.

Read his previous entries, and you'll see this guy always takes on more fuel than what's on the paperwork. Sometimes that's prudent, but he's a "+1000lbs" kinda guy everytime. Look at that headup display pic before landing, and it's clear and a million. And no problems getting in. Do AF pilots not use TAF reports? Chances are, those jumpseater and non rev pilots probably knew how much of a d**k this pilot was about fuel and begged to launch off with what's on the paperwork. Sucks for all of them. And yes, this guy gets the TOTD award.

Also like his "airline captain since 1991."

Not airline pilot since 1986. Not flying since the 80s. No, he is "airline captain since 1991."

This guy is just like Flying mag's Les Abend. Drama queen, blowing everything out of proportion. One time he wrote an entire article about the cockpit printer not working and he had to load it, it was hard, hadn't done it since IOE on the plane, controllers were trying to get him throughout the CPDLC, all while over the Atlantic ocean. Complete drama queens. Both these guys were the lucky ones in AA history. Hired in 1984-1986, spent 12-18 months as a SO, then 4 yrs as a FO, then upgraded at 31-32 yrs of age and have been captains ever since then. Theres the reason for some toolbag-ness.
