How about FAs who log onto pilot forums to criticize pilots for not treating FAs as professional equals.

Yeah no kidding. Once they invest tens of thousands of dollars, years of training, a few crap jobs to gain experience, get a 4 year degree, and take on the direct daily responsibility of not killing hundreds of people... they can be viewed as equals.

Hey. HEY! As per the brilliance posted in the KCM thread, you obviously need to marry one. Then you will respect them.

Every pilot needs to marry an FA. No exceptions.

I usually tell them the cockpit door separates the professionals from the rest. They love that.

I'll never forget what a 727 Captain said to me, when I was a young, single, new hire;

"You've never been married? You mean to tell me you are depriving some poor Flight Attendant of her rightful alimony?!"

So...I chased one, until she caught me...

An old Captain once said: "I admire Flight Attendants. They can do a job which would drive me nuts in about one hour."

Amen.

The only job other than F/A at which I would last a shorter amount of time before being arrested for assault would be gate agent.

I don't know how anybody does either of those jobs, God bless them...

I really don't know how gate agents do it. The really good ones are so good with "difficult" people. I could not do their job.
