I like your blog, it's interesting to read. Most pilot blogs are lame because the guy writing them tries to make it seem all dangerous and dramatic (like that jet head guy or whatever.) I also like that you cover the travel aspect. Anyway, I say not a tool.. Keep up the good work!

We'll see if he posts a fear-laden post about how DCA the most scariest, most dangerous, most awful place in the universe and every pilot should poop his pants if he even utters the letters and how on every flight the most important thing is fuel....stating that fuel needs to be checked, rechecked, more added, rechecked again, add more, bump non-revs, jumpseaters, revenue, rechecked some more, more added and then rechecked a final time and then still worry about it the whole flight. Until then, his stuff looks ok to me.

Okay, thanks for deciding I'm not a tool! Since I haven't posted in two years on this forum, how about this: My wife has a female friend in Australia who's husband cheated on her (they have a newborn boy) and now he wants to just be friends while he brings home other women to the house. Forget raising the kid. His poor wife is devastated and she doesn't have the nerve to tell his or her parents, or to dump his ass. So, he continues to to go on like nothing ever happened, all while telling her that he doesn't love her anymore.

If I only had 5 minutes with that guy...

Now that guy IS a tool. On a side note, we spent an extra 10 minutes running our performance numbers in LAS yesterday for our flight to BUR and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't give us any takeoff numbers. We finally found out - 3 knots of tailwind on runway 8 in BUR. Three knots!!
