Flew with a chap who would take a linen of the galley cart. He put the linen on his lap before fastening his seat belt. He said it prevents lap belt stripes being imprinted on his polyester pants.

A linen? What a great idea. Why didn't I think of that. I've been taking my pants off before fastening the seatbelt all these years. You live and learn.

I heard a guy who used the call sign, Eagle flight xx, call center and say, "Center, Eagle Flt xx, interrogative." Lol I nearly fell out of my chair. (Not really) Interrogative?

Cntr had no idea what he was trying to say but finally the Eagle Flt asked his question.
