The MD88 shoulder straps ruined several of my white shirts with grease smears. Never lost a button though!
I'm not a big guy, only 5'9" tall, but it seemed I was always in pain getting into or out of that cockpit. Between hitting my head on the overhead switches and banging my shin on the center console, hitting my shoulders on the door frame, trying to stuff my Purdy Neet into that tiny coat closet, and that seat that ruined my back, it's a wonder I can fly at all! But I'm sure Boeing has fixed all those things on the 717! |
