LNL, no one is being passionate here defending the guy. It's probably a good idea you don't share your thoughts about any of us. You know nothing about any of us and you'd be quite mistaken, based on this discussion, to infer that we have anything but respect in our attitudes and actions towards women. In fact, to do so would be worthy of tool of the week.

I'm not throwing out the misogynist card. I just find it curious how some on here never have a problem throwing other people involved in the industry under the bus when they get arrested. They are NEVER afforded the "maybe it was a misunderstanding" excuse. Members of airline management, union leadership, mechanics, rampers, FAs and of course, big bad TSA agents are almost always guilty as charged in the court of public opinion on here.

I don’t think anyone posting in this thread deserves tool of the day.

Everyone has differing opinions and that is alright. We each state the basis for our opinions and that is all. The justice system spoke in this case. As is the case in each decision handed down in the criminal justice system, some agree and some do not. The bottom line is; we should be willing to accept the decisions made (no matter how much we may disagree) because believe it or not, with all of its flaws, it is still one of the best legal systems in the world. Think not? Review systems closely related to ours such as England, Spain, and Germany for example and see how far astray they are from ours and how we all would be *****ing far more about those similar legal systems. Review other countries’ legal systems non-related to ours and you will be horrified.

That's not true. We all had a good laugh at our peer who was run down in the woods by a police helicopter wearing nothing more than his flip-flops. There is an unfortunate individual who learned the hard way that lying, especially in the ALPA magazine, isn't wise. He was crucified. We can be really hard on our fellow aviators. But respectfully, this case just seems off to me. And no one should ever be convicted on an accuser's accusations alone. Ever. Even if they're guilty.

I strongly agree Rhino. I feel very fortunate to have been born here and certainly wouldn't want to be in legal trouble anywhere else in the world. On a completely different subject, I owe LNL an apology. I was rude and belittling to you before regarding an entirely different subject and I'm sincerely sorry.

LNL, if I had a daughter she would be under the cell plan for children, where only her friends, and relatives would be able to contact her. Everyone else would be blocked.

Yeah, try that with a 20 year old woman!

Those events, while entertaining in a twisted way, were not crimes with victims. Really can't be compared to a molestation. I was referring to individuals arrested for drunk driving, taking a weapon through TSA, etc.

Not sure what you're apologizing for, it must have been awhile ago as I really can't remember.

You made it sound like she was underage. Of course men of all ages are going to hit on your 20 year old daughter.

Hitting on is one thing, being touched against her will and nearly overpowered is quite another. Again, by a "man" with 2 daughters of his own who were around the same age as her.
