Although, to balance out that little exchange, there was this one in LAX not long ago.

LAX Ground to Delta 737: "Delta 123, taxi 25R full length, follow the Skywest 175."

Delta 737: "Delta 73, taxi 25R full length, follow the little guy."

Then ground calls a heavy, I think it was an Air New Zealand 777.

LAX Ground: "New Zealand One Heavy, taxi 25R full length, follow the Delta 737 just coming out of the alley."

New Zealand One Heavy: "Taxi 25R full length, New Zealand One Heavy. And...we'll follow the little guy."

I wish I could've bought that dude a beer...

The express agents in PHL love to do that too, and then argue until it is 10 prior.

I nominate the agent in PHL that started boarding us up 30 prior, then sends a couple nonrevs down about 6-7 before departure. I'm looking for the jumpseater that I spoke to when I got to the gate... no sign of her so I make the walk (now about D-2) and here comes the agent down to pull the two nonrevs off because the rev pax decided to finally show up. Grrrr. So where is my jumpseater? Not even processed... and now the agent says she can't pull her info up. Fine, I tell her, take your time because I'm not leaving without her. Finally get her on, close up, and... wait for the cargo door because the rampies are still slinging bags. Grrrr. And who gets tagged with the delay? C'mon, we should be able to board up an Arr Jay in 20 minutes and be on the clock early - it isn't rocket science.

At a certain airport after we bypass security we have to walk to the aircraft outside, and this morning it was snow everywhere. Doesn't bother me being an ex ramper but the TOTD award goes to the Piedmont guy or gal that decided to turn out after getting de iced and stop with the tail of their aircraft facing our aircraft and the terminal/ramp area then run their engines up twice blowing everything over.

And for the record, I didn't call him a "liar", I said i was calling BS, as in not true, or at least not fully true.

You want due process for relating a story on the internet? I am pretty sure that would shut down the internet, CNN, Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, NPR and every other source of information we have at our finger tips these days

The thing that baffles me the most is it's the managers that are always the hardest to work with, what happened to leadership qualities? The ones that are the kindest are the kids who do it part time on the weekends or the guys/gals at the outstations usually

New Years day, late morning out of South Florida.
Unsatisfied with the limited geographic of his cabin PA, our hero decided that Guard would spread his message far and wide on his flight from FL to NY.
I've done a fine one as well in the past, (and deserved the "helpful" suggestions on comm use ;) )

Where it approached a low level "Toolish" level was the added,... "I am Captain "Marlboro", and along with the First Officer, you are in the capable hands of two pilots with a combined 26 years of experience as US Navy pilots"

Of course he didn't mention his FO's name during his PA.

Even bigger "Tools" were the endless idiots jumping in with "GUAAARRRRD" in the middle of the PA when there is zero chance of him hearing it and no doubt blocking more self flagellating parts of an entertaining guard PA.

Texraid.
Your going to have to come up with better material than petty theft ;)

We can come up with far better stuff that our scummy brethren have done.

Murder, hundreds of millions in fraud thefts, running around naked in trench coats, pedophiles, ect ect

Welcome to the party

LOL... If only they would all shut up so the rest of us can appreciate the hilarity of the PA.

No lie, I once heard a captain on guard give his PA and add in, "And both of us are graduates of the United States Air Force Academy, so you know you're in good hands." HAHAHAHA.

Wrong in this case: http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...6-web_copy.jpg

How do you know he worked for a large regional? It happened in concourse A, no mainlines, unless you consider F9 and G4 mainline.

I'm just curious as we never heard anything like this in the news or scuttlebutt around campus.

How often do you read about misdemeanors in a newspaper?
