Greetings Fellow Pilots
Hi there everyone, my name is Douglas. I am happy to be a part of this forum. I am currently 19 years old and live in PA (USA). I am interested in becoming a commercial pilot and flying for a living. Unfortunately I have a medical condition (pertaining to my eyes) that is making it difficult to pursue my dream of professional flying.
Currently I am flying thermal free balloons, which do not require a medical certificate. After cataract surgery, I hope to have acceptable vision to pass my medical. In the mean time, I figured this forum would be a great place to learn some useful stuff from those who I want to become.

I am a 16 year old high school student from Pennsylvania, with no flying experience yet. I hope to one day become an airline pilot for a major airline. I also want to become an air traffic controller, before becoming I pilot. I plan on earning my Private Pilot's License while working on getting my degree in Air Traffic Control, and after (hopefully) getting a job as an ATC, I want to continue flying and getting other licenses. Then, after so many years working as an ATC, I want to try and become an airline pilot.
