Yes, I have to say, Bubbah's cigar trick wowed us all. No doubt an attractive. intelligent woman would just go wild for that.
Too bad he didn't have one around to show it to.

Guess what? I hear that not only are the liberal men better in bed, but also better outside the bedroom because they're almost ALWAYS WAY more educated, more interesting to talk to, and usually financially stable and successful...another damn inconvenient truth!
Very happy thank you.

Will I be able to read more about liberal men in Cosmo?

We have to ask ourselves a few questions:

1. What can be done?
2. How effective will our actions be?
3. Will we sacrifice lives, jobs, and economic development for a tiny incremental change?
4. Will the development of alternate fuels, possibly fusion, over the next 100 years make this problem unimportant?
5. What if these are primarily natural cycles? Do you really think we can do anything to stop them?

As far as your presumption about the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, well that has varied considerably more than the present number over time and we are still here. It is rather pointless to argue that a small change will destroy life on earth.
Lastly, unless you plan to dry your soy crop on an empty Interstate, I don't think there can be much that man can do. Of course he could do a lot of very costly things, like stop burning fossil fuels. Then a lot of people would start strarving and freezing to death.

Finally, the Document presented in Paris is grossly flawed. Can you recall a time in history in which the UN was considered a fount of scientific or political advice worth even considering as valid?
I would add: What if what we do strangles our ability to adapt to any naturally occuring global warming or cooling? Capitalism is the best way to manage the environment or adapt to change.

Jeeze, you right wingers will grasp at anything. I was making fun of Lag. Like I said, the middle of the road and left-leaning guys with the brains, intelligence, education and consideration of others will always get the best women. The red-necked, right wing, uneducated, woman-hating types will have to stay happy with their trailer park gals. It's just the facts.

I'm going to go off to my job now, where I thankfully get to mix with the former!

Skygirl was reacting to my post were I took a little liberalism on the spelling of Marin County. Apparently a place in California were the men are feminine and potent.

And it was slick willie who attracted the trailer park gals as I recall. Attracted might be the wrong word, imposed his will, maybe.

Thanks for your views on men, politics, SFO, and the sexual inclination of your friends. If you have time after work come back and we can talk about Global warming and Oil company profits, or not.

I think you meant "the former."

Common sense should tell you most people are middle of the road, with some small variance to either side. Your exercise in profiling ignores the fact that it's possible to lean right without approaching the extremes. You lose credibility when you imply right-leaning people fit the profile of THE LATTER. If you're not capable of judgement and analysis beyond the simplistic red state/blue state map, then pardon my futile effort here.

Ryane, don't try to use science with these guys. They believe the earth is only 6000 years old because that's what the bible says. You can't get through to them. They have been programed by Rush and such to reject the facts. They just get in the way.
