A vacancy was published yesterday for 1,013 total pilots on seniority list. That included the last 2 vacancies as well and is up from 858. I think all airframes will be available in classes for the foreseeable future.

That’s good news, thanks for the info! Will a new contract have to be agreed upon prior to the 787 hitting the line? Excuse my ignorance but my understanding is that there is currently no pay scale for the 787?

Theres a pay scale but it isn’t published on here. I think 12 yr CA pay is 356 on this contract but we’ll see what happens with the next. 787 issue is due to the MAX issues and Boeing not being able to do it’s own sign offs with the current maintenance necessary for Boeing to continue deliveries. Once the FAA is able to do it there will be a better idea on timing.

there is a 787 PAY SCALE LOA. We are currently in section 6 contract negotiations so they will be incorporated into the new contract. It’s going to go very senior once that vacancy bid comes out.
