So I don't understand how people with the same month of CJO as mine got April class, and I am currently in 50ies.

Folks with CJO if you don't mind sharing your dates of CJO current position and main fleet preference Freight or Pax, maybe we can find the pattern here.
Did you try just asking the hiring team directly? I doubt it’s a huge secret.

Got CJO
mid October and currently #23 in line. My preference was pax over cargo.

. My theory is its based off interview date, not CJOs, or completion of background. I interviewed first week Nov, CJO mid Nov, background and psyche completed Jan. Email had me in the high 30s. Two friends of mine interviewed early and mid Jan.they got CJOs late Jan and one is low 60s the other high 80s. Seems most hiring was in Nov and Jan.

You're in a great spot! The bulk-hiring at the end of last year is going to have all those people's CJO's expire as they don't make the 30-40 cut, and you're going to be able to jump a lot of spots.

I don't even think we're forcast to hire another 125 people. Hopefully a lot of people drop off the list. Either way, apply elsewhere and start building seniority.

We will have to hire at least that many to cover the IRO spots on the 787 by the end of next year, assuming we will be flying that thing to BOS, JFK, SYD and NRT.

Corrected:

We will have to hire at least that many to cover the IRO spots on the 330 freighter by the end of next year, assuming we will be flying that thing to CDG, LHR, FRA.
