They are probably trying to figure out who to call out of the probably 200 Atlas drivers like me who applied, lol.

Several of our 3/4/5 day trips on the 330 have enough rest built in to meet this requirement. It is very, very common to see commuters on the 330 bunch 12 of their days off in a row. Happens all the time.

With that said, if this TA passes all of you potential FNGs ;-) can almost be guaranteed the 717. Pay rates on the WB are going so high even a lot of the old diehard 717 guys are going to bail.

Default Atlas drivers

Good luck Froggy.

Lear 31, I forgot you guys are being sued by your own management.

A lot of Atlas guys probably willing to commute to HNL from east coast just to get away from Atlas.

Cant believe how bad things have got there. Interesting to hear somebody else mention they are similar to Froggy but waiting on the call still.

Does anybody know if HAL frowns upon commuting. Obviously you can do it but from what I understand they want people to live in HNL and immerse themselves in Hawaiian culture promoting the HAL message.

How many here will move to HNL on first year pay and even stay there from second year on.

Commute to HNL will be pretty brutal unless you get direct from LAX or even NY business class I presume. Chopping and changing from smaller cities to HNL will be a real drag.

So would you speculate that there will be a lot of transitions off the 717 to the bus allowing a new hire to have a line fairly quickly? What about possible upgrade times, I've heard it was about 8 years in the past on the 717 but with the movement would one assume this would drop in the near future?

Also can anyone PM me some sample 717 pairing details?

Thanks

The guy I recommended had 0 TPIC. 5 years of heavy international experience. He got the interview email yesterday.

Do you happen to know if he got one of those 'we will communicate your status' emails before the invite?
