Eagle Air Med also operates under other names, and is actually "Scenic Aviation," our of Blanding, Utah. They've changed names to try to bolster their image, and are in business because of ties formed with the Navajo nation. They lost their certification at one point, and have wrecked a number of aircraft in the past. They've even managed to land aircraft out of fuel on mountainsides at least twice (Chief Pilot did that). It's a family-owned and run business. They have had a long history of 1-hour annual inspections and hundred hours, and unless things have changed drastically, are to be absolutely avoided.
Don't say you weren't warned.

I've always thought it seemed like something I would enjoy. I love medicine, volunteer in a hospital and have an EMT cert. Still, hard to find decent jobs without King Air time.
I've applied to a few with no response. (ATP, almost 5000 hours). I would hate the med crew running the FLYING show though. I understand the mission, but...
Are you at Eagle Med uscg?

Some great lines I have heard here.
A new medcrew member "This really seams like a great company and the Doc that owns it seams great. I AM STILL NOT SOLD ON THIS WHOLE FLYING THING"
Then have also been told "Get me outa these clouds" on a 200 and 1/2 day

I've gotten questioned by the med crew after a flight just for making a turn to intercept the localizer. "Hey what was that turn all about?"
You really have to treat them like they don't know anything and explain everything.
