graduating from college and need a job, help!

If you find a good lead let me know. I have about 12,000 total time, mostly jet, lots of glass time, lots of analog time, small jets, big jets, jet PIC. I actually regret letting my CFI expire 15 years ago. I actually enjoyed it. Get a part time job if you need to supplement your CFI income, but just stay at it if you can afford to. There's no money in the entry level jobs anyway. It's bleak out there. I just got rejected for a manufacturing job in my backyard today. I don't think anyone has a chance right now unless they know someone and have the right type rating and currency, so hang out as long as you can, and try to appreciate what you have.

You can always consider joining the military, either full-time or part-time. Sounds like you would be competitive for a pilot slot.

No really, seriously, the airlines are in retraction, cargo is slimming down, flight departments across the country are closing, and aircraft are being sold right from under pilot's seats.
How many types and jet time do you have? with 500 in type you might be able to go overseas.
I would stay in school.

I am graduating from Arizona State University with a bacholar degree in aeronautical management technology professional flight. I am currently instructing and have 1000 hrs total time with 150 multi (CFI, CFII, MEI certificates). I would like to find a job other than instructing. If you guys could give me some suggestions of some jobs or where to look for jobs I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Well I will give you a suggestion...
Pilot
Pilot Air Freight in PHX is hiring. They are a freight forwarder. I have my PPL and decided to go into the forwarding business at 19 instead of continuing on to get my CFI, Multi, etc... There is quite a bit of money in forwarding and you get to see from another perspective on how aviation really benefits everyone....not just the passenger.
Now I'm 23 and running my own air department for a logistics firm without a college degree. If you have any questions about it, PM me.

Well put. I agree with you 100%. Anybody that has a good instructing job right now would be crazy to leave it. There are hundreds of CFI's who cant even find a job being a CFI.
