---Edit---

Thanks for removing the link. I think the company's intent is to get by-name, highly qulified attendees only at this first event.
Why not post it. If JB didn't want it out there well they shouldn't have sent it to our compnay email boxes. Evite my ass, think of all the quality people out there getting passed over. People who can, should be able to show up in Orlando and use the face to face to sell themselves. Jetblue needs to drop this evite ****e immediatley.

Really? That is the most ignorant thing i have ever heard. They sent it in the hopes you knew somebody that you would forward it too that would be a good fit. Obviously if they knew you personally you'd be the last of your kind working here.....

With all the talk regarding the Open House, has anyone received a confirmation # back from their RSVP?

Curious and waiting,
Cubdrick

Well well, I'll stay positive although it's getting harder every day.

Good luck to all of you who'll get an invitation.
Yeager, I wouldn't get too upset about it yet. They made a point of reminding us that there will be hiring outside the open houses as well. Are they a leg up? Sure. Required? Not so much. Hang in there.

How is it ignorant. What about the qualified guys out there who don't know anyone at JetBlue. What exactly do you mean by the last of my kind working here???? I doubt you know me personally as I'm on the 190 and you are on the bus.

Just curious, what would a new hire expect to gross in their first year with JB; including overtime, profit sharing, etc?

About 50K give or take a few. 2nd year 60-65K, and 3rd year about 80K, 4th about 85K-90K, 5th 90K-100K, You will be on the E190 for several years and expect to upgrade in 5-12years depending on how quickly the country recovers and the airline continues to grow.
