You would be amazed fellas. I know three SWA poolies who returned to active duty and are locked up by the pilot bonus. I know another pool type who is now a full time UAV pilot and has no flight currency. I also know a pool guy who lost his pilot qual and is now a Raytheon employee. Five down....I don't think these folks are the exception. Incidentally, the fellow who is flying uav's just picked up his second DUI in two years (ouch).

Anyway, if those guys were in front of me in the pool, then my number is only helped when SWA does indeed hire again. That may sound harsh, but that's the reality. You either want it bad enough to wait, or you can't and that's that.
