Default Maybe this summer

I checked with my buddy at GoJets last week. He said that there may be some hiring this summer. He thinks it should be sooner rather than later, but he is a Captain, not management , so his opinion only goes so far!

You'll have to tell Bob Trout that I said hey. Ditch dawg for King back in 07. Good luck with everything, but I hope you know what you have coming in terms of management over there. I worked on the other side of the hall before I got furloghed, but it was pretty much all the same BS.

No Bob left end of last year with medical issues. Maverick is a great company to work for but if I have to see the Canyon one more time I will shoot myself!!

Default Go-Jets = No Career?

Hate to tell you but I am a Capt. at Airtran 8yrs. We have more than 1 pilot here that was hired here directly from Go-Jets. (ex-TWA people) who are very qualified to work at Air-Tran.

I set my own career back at least 3 years back in the 90's by listening to all of the pilots saying that the "Pay-For-Training" Commuter pilots will never get hired by any major airlines either.(WRONG) So I elected not to pay while the paying pilots got on at Comair & others and ended up in the majors long before me. The H-R people could give a rats-ass...... and the pilots I am sad to say DO NOT CONTROL THE HIRING.

In fact AirTran has gone to the On-line computer point system, where at the end you can enter references. But the resume to the chief pilots office is dead at AirTran (yeah it sucks, but thats the way it is now)
