You can find decent gyms over much of the globe, Europe, Asia, ME, can't vouch for Africa.

5,4,3,2,.....ok, ok, ok.......I'll bite on this one. Some good posts here. But just like has been said over the last few pages, there is a huge amount of information that typically answers all questions if you at least go back a year, if not to the beginning of this thread.

But, here you go. Some first year insight.

But in reality, I don't there is such a thing as normal at Atlas. Must be flexible from my understanding.

Cool Phone Interview Questions, 2 June 2015

1. Why Atlas?

2. How did you find out about Atlas?

3. TMAAT you had to correct a captain?

4. TMAAT you had to overcome a lack of communication in the cockpit, ie, you had to use all your CRM skills to communicate?

5. What would be the most challenging thing for you to face flying around the world on a car cra schedule?

6. Have you had any training failures or felonies?

That was it...took about 10 mins...Interview spots on the 9th, 10th & 11th June still open...class date looks like around September timeframe, unless some fishes get out of the current pool. Filling both the 747 & the 767 meow.

Calling all peeps from now until Friday to fill next weeks interviews. If you miss the phone call like I did, calling back everyday and leaving a VM and shooting back an email seemed to help.

Thanks!! Fantastic rundown. I wish you the best of luck for your interview!
Now hopefully they'll call me tomorrow.

I'll be in my yard doing the "atlas please hire me" dance until they do.

WARrich has it right. The first thing one needs to understand about Atlas is there is absolutely no such thing as a normal schedule, monthly or otherwise, for either captains or F/Os. One month you may be out in the Pacific for 17 days. The next month you may have two trips to Taranto, Italy on the LCF that also stretch most of 17 days because of the 98 hour crew rests in Italy. The following month you may be spending time in Amsterdam, Hahn, and Abu Dhabi. It's very important that a prospective pilot understands this and does not show up expecting a "normal" schedule. Part of the adventure of working here is the complete absence of normal schedules. The flight hours vary as much as the destinations. However, thanks to CRT (Calculated Rig Time) if you are out for a complete 17 days you have roughly 20 hours of overtime even if you don't turn a wheel.

Sounds like fun actually. Trade you for a PGD-CVG and back three times per week?

I had the phone interview yesterday as well. Very laid back conversation.

Why Atlas?
Why do you want to leave your current employer?
What do you like and dislike about your company?
Checkride/training failures?
Pass a background check?
When can you come in for interview? 6/11
I didnt get any TMAAT questions.
First applied two years ago.
Email for online assessment 5/15
Took the test 5/18
Phone interview 6/2
Zero recommendations, civilian, 5300TT

Wish me luck!
