DAL invites going out

I am sure there is not a "type," or level of quals. That is not the way DAL does it.
Some say there is a point system that is attached to the app, but no one know what that means. The ones I am aware of are all "well" qualified.

With 8000hrs including 2500 JET PIC, 7 years of college including 4 at ERAU, and currently flying medium equipment on domestic/intnl routes with a clean record, I'm not hearing a peep.
In this environment, I'm not sure what consitutes "well" qualified anymore.
I'm now just hoping to be "well" lucky.

Heard in the lounge yesterday that they are planning on all returnees back in August, total of 300 by end of the year.
Also, planning on 60 a month indefinitely.
Anyone heard that last part about the 60/mo ?
Just passin a rumor.. that's it.

That "rumor" has been around for at least two months. It is a rumor because it is best guess.
I just know that you do not put the expense in to a hiring dept for 300 pilots. That is just my dot connecting.

ACL, Sailing or anyone else, whaddya think?
Mesabah, have you found an answer to your question yet?
Is there anyone for current DAL pilots to call to find out answers to questions such as these. PM me if you have any contact info, as I'm sure they don't want their phone numbers/names out on this board.
Thanks!

I have a friend in a very similar situation (flew/flies for DCI, interned at NWA, etc). We are trying to figure out how he should put this, especially the internship. Don't want to be misleading, but he technically did not intern with Delta. Also, don't want him to lose out on an opportunity to play one of his cards.

Simple. Be honest, factually correct and you have nothing to worry about.
NWA Internship
DCI carrier.
Former NWA employee as you were not a DAL intern or Employee.

To Mesabah, I believe the question on the App has a box to check if you were a Delta intern. I believe my friend is checking that box, and then elaborating in the "comments" box that it was actually NWA, etc. The trick is to get your info through the computer filter without appearing misleading. I believe this is probably the best method.
I would feel better for his sake and yours, Mesabah, if one of us had the ability to call and ask this question on your behalf. Unfortunately, I've been unable to dig up a name/number as they're purposely staying behind closed doors. I completely understand though as I used to work in a pilot recruiting dept and couldn't imagine having 12000+ pilots calling on behalf of their friends. Good luck Mesabah, and let me know if you've got any other info.
