I had an interview today. They said they are hiring 260 this year and they are running 2 classes a month. They were telling us that if we get hired the earliest class we could be in starts Feb 28th.

Based on the latest vacancy, start looking for crashpads in DTW if you get hired on the 9E side. LOTS of openings for future NH classes there. Word from management is 200+ off the street this year with upgrades continuing on top of that.

I interviewed with Pinnacle Feb 2. Said they're hiring about 260 pilots this year. Seem to be a bit understaffed compared to other regionals. My class date is March 14 for the CRJ200. They said that ATL is way senior and you can forget about it....JFK is new and most junior.

I'd say DTW is the junior base right now. Latest vacancy has 15 DTW openings and 1 JFK. After things calm down (or guys that took a displacement to JFK for the $$$ and bid to DTW do that), JFK will probably wind up the junior base, though. ATL might be easier to get than MEM or MSP in the future.

BOHICA. We're pretty much gonna be down to 11 days off. Maybe even 10, and they'll just pay everyone the extra 8 hours and the comp day.....
