far from it... I had almost 4 times their minimums and 8 type ratings, 1900+ Jet PIC, including A320 PIC, but was ignored until I had an internel recommendation.

The only people I've come across getting hired at bare minimums are people with huge internal connections. They may also hire certain protected minorities with those minimums, I'm not certain of that however.

A new hire recently quit. Got a type rating and decided to take a job closer to home. It won't help the commuters in the job search.
