Got emailed for phase three at the end of this month. Does anyone know what the success rate is for phase three candidates? Does getting phase three mean that you are kind of in for the most part?

Thanks to anyone in the know.

When did you complete phase II? Did you receive a notice that you passed phase II and how long was that after you successfully completed phase II? TIA

Phase III is 99% there IF YOU ARE HONEST when you take your psych eval exams with the good Doctor.. The majority of people who bust out of Phase III try to answer the psych test as if they're interviewing and put on a good face.... BE HONEST. Of the 14 that were at my Phase III, I know of 2 that were not hired... One got a re-test the other not.

BE HONEST, and BE HUMAN, and you'll do fine.

Did second phase end of October. After a few email snafus, got the third phase invite a few days ago, so approx 3 weeks wait from phase 2.

And I must say, everyone I've dealt with at HAL recruitment has been nothing but extremely helpful and nice.

Cat2; Thank you very much for the info. Wanted to get an idea of where I stand and you provided that.

Good luck to all in the process.

I'm sure this happens all the time with no repercussion, but its not a fail safe. A few years back, a half dozen guys from the regional I used to work for called in sick for an interview at a major. The Chief Pilot at the regional saw the sick calls, knew the major was running interviews and called up the Chief Pilot's office at the major to inquire. All of them had their job offers rescinded.

More new hires after June, 13, for a total of 75 to 80 for the year if plans remain unchanged. After about May of 13, pilots will not be allowed to bid into the A330 from a previously assigned aircraft until their 2 year seat lock is completed, and then only if there is a vacancy. Subsequent to June of 13, there is still the possibility that new hires could be placed directly into the 330 depending on the company's needs. All of this is carved in marshmellow...

Am I misreading your post or are you saying that after May 2013 they will not be hiring directly into the 330? So everyone will do 2 years on the 717 first?

A few questions for those able and willing to answer:

1) I missed the last hiring window opening, but I had applied during the previous window. Is it possible for me to still update my app or do I have to wait for the window to re-open again?

2) ALPC states HA has contractual pay bumps for 2013 and 2014, anyone know what percentage those pay raises are?

3) Is there a mandatory retirement list posted anywhere for HA like the ones posted on this site for many of the other majors?

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm sure it's been asked before, but what is the absolute latest on what does HAL pay and does not pay for in terms of accommodations?

I'm assuming no Hotel for any stage of the interview, is that correct?

What about hotel during training? If not, how long does one have to prepare for to pay out of pocket?

Are you getting your minimum $36x75hrs from day I of ground school? What about travel benefits on HAL, do they kick in from day one as well? how about CASS, how long till that is taken care of?

When do you know what fleet you get assigned to?

Thanks so much!

Hawaiian is my dream job! Been flying caravans inter island for nearly a year. Know the routes. Just need to get some more multi time for the 300. Looked at island air for the next step just don't know about their future. Has anyone heard more about Hawaiians regional subsidiary?
