Was just chatting with an Airbus instructor in the crew room, seems it's all 767 and 717 50/50% or something.. even though there's 11 not 12 as originally planned.

Has anyone been hired after an initial "thanks but no thanks"?

Probably quite a few the following year or years... Many have interviewed 2,3 or 4 times before getting the nod....

Probably requires waiting for the next application window to open? (rumor is later in the Spring)

Did he mention anything about there being probably 2 more classes this Spring before the next app. window? (rumor I heard from somewhere)

Seems like they still need to fill 8+ vacancies for the 767?

No, last I heard was this was the last class for the window. But that frankly doesn't make sense. Then they'll have two months of no hiring. So who knows?

And as far as I can figure, they'd be a bit short of the projected hiring of 93... But not sure where they are at..

I know a guy who interviewed (Phase I) first week of December I believe. So I figured they'd have a class or 2 more?

Hoping you're right? Completed Phase lll after Thanksgiving and got an email 2 weeks later welcoming me to the Hawaiian family but no class date set? If anyone hears anything about possible dates please feel free to share :)
