I wanted to get this thread going again. I have a job interview with Sun Country next week and would like some help getting some info on them. I have noticed that APC Forums doesnt have much on Sun Country.
- What is reserve like? Short call or Long Call? What kind of Reserve contract do they have and what kind of lifestyle can a pilot expect?
- Does Sun Country have CASS Jumpseat on almost every domestic airline?
- How likely is it to fly over the monthly pay guarantee?
- Are they expanding/growth? Or hiring for a few retirements?
- How senior is the pilot group? They have 139 pilots. Are majority of them expected to be retiring in the next few years just like all Major/Legacy will be experiencing?
- Are they healthy? They've been making a decent profit every year since bankruptcy. And have new owner ship.
But I suppose more importantly before I worry about the above, I have to interview. Does anyone have interview gouge info. Willflyforfood.com only has 2 gouges. One from 1999, and one from June 2011 and they are dramatically different.
