Most of the Alaska furloughs were hired during the summer/fall of 2007. They were furloughed in Jan. March. and Oct. of 2009, meaning the longest person on furlough will have been out days less than 3 years...

Nothing like a 3 year pay freeze while you are out on the street. A weak Union and greedy management really did a number on those furloughed! At least all the remaining pilots weren't picking up extra time (VSA) - oh wait...
