On the jump seat one of the Alaska boys was not just kicked off VA jump seat but lost jump seat privileges for 6 months for not allowing VA to ride. Alaska's jump seat coordinator is a great person to work with.

I'm kind of confused by all of this. What's fishy's problem with Virgin? Is he complaining that Virgin, a start up company, is paying a little bit lower than everyone one else, yet giving out raises every year? They pretty much tell you during the interview what you're getting into, and I believe all of us are investing ourselves not only for the career, but the company as a whole, and ready to help build Virgin America into a great airline. This isn't some sort of "scab" operation, where we're stealing jobs from another airline. It's a new competitor in major markets...

VX Captains this Christmas are making the same as QX Captains flying Q400s. That's called UNDERCUTTING.
And even with that HUGE labor cost advantage, VX still can't turn a profit. That's called predation.
