Yes, reapply. There have been several recently who have been successful on their second attempt.

Any current pilots know about how long of notice VX gives when they schedule a class date for you? Im in the pool right now, and havent heard anything since the drug test 3 weeks ago. Just want to make absolutely sure Im not missing something. I cant wait to give my notice at my current employer, and wondering how class scheduling has worked in the not so distant past.
Thanks in advance for any info guys. Hope to see you on line soon.

It can take some time and they only contact you after all your background stuff is back. I know it is painful to sit in limbo but hang tight things are getting ready to spool up big time for the next 10 months.

Hang I there. In the past, if you took the drug test, you where gold. They will give a couple weeks notice to give your employer a proper notice.

Default new classes

There has been a class scheduled for the middle of aug. Only four guys and gals. But the next class I hear is going to be quite large, at least for us. 14 people with another just as big a couple weeks later. If you're in the pool, I would expect to hear something pretty soon. I am pretty sure they give everybody 2weeks notice these days.

Where are you hearing this stuff. A buddy of mine has heard nothing and he is one who would need to know... Now I do hope you are 100% correct but lets not lead to false hope for some.

I want VX to grow and grow big I have alot of friends that work there and enjoy it. If I could I would work there. The company I work for sucks...

A lot of new-hire training coming up. Don't have specific numbers and dates, but the training department will be very busy this fall and winter and perhaps spring as well. At our staffing levels, 12 aircraft between now and next June equals about 140-160 new hires.

Based on how we typically do training, I would guess on average we would do two classes of 8 each month between September and June. Some months maybe more, some months maybe less, depending on sim availability.

I got my info from the guys doing the ground school. And then it was reiterated to me by a check ailment that I am flying with. I just rely info I find mostly credible. Things do change around here pretty quickly though.

Thanks
