What is the longevity for the average captain at Horizon? I have this image of.... Some guys with some serious vintage who will retire there.... Am I off?

Yes, there are a lot of pilots who will be here until they retire or the airline crumbles beneath them.

As far as the retirements are concerned, there aren't nearly enough to matter.... ever.

2013: 4 more. I think we've had 2-3 to this point.
2014: 6
2015: 3
2016: 10
2017: 14

Apply if you want to be a turbo prop F.O. for the next 13 years. But you get an iPad, and can live in Medford Oregon however.

Correction:

You can live in Medford, or next year you can get displaced to Anchorage, where you will try to operate this gloriously reliable Q400 with only contracted maintenance available.

Ha.

Haha.

Man. That's a good one.

What is "competitive" experience to get an interview at QX these days? Applied back in November 2012 and got the rejection email stating how competitive it is to get an interview... I have nearly 4000 total with 1800 tpic in Metroliners, plus I'm from GEG!

Anyway, applied again just for fun. I would gladly walk from my new gig at XJT if Horizon called...

I had less than 1000 total and 100 multi when I was hired. No internal recs. My whole class was roughly the same. All CFI candidates. This was not too far from when you last applied.
